Ravi Bhookhun joined the firm in 2022 and is a Senior Associate within the Dispute Resolution team. Apart from his experience in arbitration and advisory work, Ravi has a wide practice experience in civil, commercial, employment and insurance law, as well.

Ravi appears regularly before the Courts and Tribunals of Mauritius. He assists employers during disciplinary committees and during collective bargaining process with trade unions.

Ravi has appeared as junior counsel before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and has represented companies during investigations and hearings before the Competition Commission of Mauritius.

Ravi was a member of the Appeal Committee of the Mauritius Turf Club and is a member of the Board of Editors of the New Bar Chronicle, the Journal of the Legal Profession.

Prior to joining BLC Robert & Associates, Ravi was in private practice since 2009 at De Spéville-Sauzier-Desvaux Chambers and De Spéville-Desvaux Chambers. Ravi holds an L.L.B from the University of Wolverhampton and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2007 and sworn as a Barrister in Mauritius in 2009.
