Koomooda Virasami joined BLC Robert & Associates in March 2024 as an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and business law practice group. Prior to that, she was a sole practitioner in civil litigation matters.

Koomooda now advises clients on both domestic and multi-jurisdictional private equity transactions. She also assits regularly in conducting extensive legal research for the team. Her experience in civil litigation and keen interest in insolvency matters allows her to assist her team members in reviewing, negotiating and drafting a range of commercial and corporate transactional contracts. She also engages in heavy due diligence exercises.

Koomooda obtained her LLB (Hons.) at University of Central Lancashire (Mauritius branch) where she graduated with a first class honours. She holds a Master of Laws in Bar Vocational Studies (with specialism in Corporate Law and Practice) from City, University of London in the UK. She also holds a Masters in International Commercial Law from University of Law (London), UK.
