Attorney at Law – Dispute Resolution Practice
Job Description
Summary of Post
This position calls for Attorneys at Law with proven solid experience in dealing with dispute resolution and litigation matters. The position requires direct collaboration with the Partner(s) in charge of the practice.
You should;
- Be qualified as an Attorney at Law with at least 4 – 6 years’ experience.
- Have practical hands-on experience dealing with litigation matters.
- Have good interpersonal skills.
Responsibility
- Understand clients’ needs, manage their expectations, and provide tailored effective legal solutions.
- Prepare Court documents, notices, and other dispute-related documents.
- Represent clients in lawsuits and negotiating settlements.
- Draft and review legal documents, agreements and other transaction related ancillary documents.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively with colleagues.
- Dissect complex legal documents and cases to provide accurate, strategic advice to clients.

Legal skills
- To apply legal knowledge and skills in a practical and commercially savvy manner.
- To display an in-depth knowledge of the core laws and principles applicable to the litigation, corporate and commercial practices.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Assist clients and partners in preparation of cases.
- Have good knowledge about Court work, proceedings and procedures and provide the right guidance to clients.
Communication & Teamwork
- Ensure regular communication with clients about status of files.
- Embrace teamwork and thrive in a team environment by demonstrating good listening skills, acknowledging opinions, and actively participating in discussions.
- Have effective litigation and drafting skills.
Results driven & Client Focus
- Be capable of handling high volumes within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Demonstrate sensitivity in dealing with client matters.
- Have strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain positive client relationships.
- Able to dissect complex legal documents and cases to provide accurate, strategic advice to their clients.
- Have high attention to detail and be thorough.
