Kaleyevanee NursinilooLegal Executive
Kaleyevanee Nursiniloo is a barrister at BLC Robert and is part of the M&A team. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has been involved in drafting and reviewing legal documentation on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. She has advised international clients, including a major French investment company in its acquisition of a pan-African facilities provider, and a group of DFIs in their joint-investment in a Kenyan property company whose business is the acquisition and development of modern logistics warehousing across Africa.
She also regularly assists clients in conducting legal due diligence exercises on Mauritian companies in relation to merging and acquisition transactions, and one such recent assignment related to carrying out a legal audit of a leading medical insurance and provident fund administrator in Mauritius for a local insurance company.Kaleyevanee is also experienced in intellectual property, data protection and employment law matters.
Kaleyevanee holds a BA (Hons) in Law from the University of Mauritius, and a Masters of Law in Comparative and International Dispute Settlement from Queen Mary University of London. She completed the Bar Professional Training Course at Nottingham Trent University, and was called to the bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She is also a member of the Mauritius Bar Association since 2016.
